How Can severe Sharp Lower Abdominal Pain Be Treated?
I m having sharp pains in my lower left abdomen. They started yesterday afternoon and have continued today. I have quite a bit of gas and despite taking antacids it continues, but it s not like the indigestion I get infrequently - this is located in my lower left abdomen and pressing on that area causes sharp pain.
You are having sharp pain in your lower left part of the abdomen.
This pain can be related to an intestinal problem, or it might be related to your left ovary problems (ovarian cyst, or salpingitis).
To put the right diagnosis an abdominal ultrasound examination, examination it is needed. I suggest you to take Buscopan three times a day and Ibuprofen two times a day.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata,
